14/01/10 3..2..1 ACTION
We woke up early today and went to La Bonfil the best surf spot in acapulco, there we met Victor "Coñingo" a surf shop owner that introduced us to some of the best local surfers like Oscar "Pawi" ( the guy in the picture ) , weve got some good starting shots from outside the water, it was a great first day, kowabongaa .
15/01/10 STAR LAPSE
Another day at the office today we went again to la bonfil and intervied Coñingo and Pawi ( good stuff ) then we climb up to a lifeguard tower and start rolling some surfing shots, big waves!!.
We are back in tree House studio checking up todays footage and we noticed that the night was perfect to do some star lapse photography and so we did ...trully amazing.
16/01/10 1300 mm OF GOOD LUCK
We arrived to la bonfil at 8 am and there was coñingo with a BIG surprise for us, he managed to trade a surf board for a 1300 mm lens and we made an arrangement for it, so today's shots where the closest to the surfers, now we are talking ; ) .
17/01/10 Al Agua Patos
Today we had only 3 hrs to shoot because our flight leaved at 12 am, so i rushed in to the water with the camera for the first tim armed only with a small buggy board and some balls, Pawi and other two surfers where close to me.
Getting into the break point was a really hard task to do without fins but i managed my way in , then i was told that this was the first time in this beach that a cameramen entered the water so i had some extra motivation to do it , and do it well .
Pawi was getting all the waves and i was struggling with the crashing ones while protecting the camera, but all this pain had a reward, the water shots are so far the best we have !!.
Now we are about to leave ( on a jet plane : ) to our main studio in Monterrey, we cant wait to review all the footage .

31/01/10 B takes - La Quebrada Cliff Divers
Today i went to la quebrada an iconic place where brave joung men keep alive the tradition of diving from a 20m cliff into shallow waters, this take is going to be part of the intro of our documentary , weve got some great shots !.
1/02/10 Starving surfer hambriento
In todays shooting session weve got like 2 or 3 hero shots then the camera battery went off and i stoped to beakfast some delicous huevos rancheros and lemonade, jummy.
In the afternoon i went sailing to get some great shots of the sunset 10/10 day .
02/02/10 Dolphin Attack
Dont worry they didnt attack anyone,i just shoot them ... on 7D, this was a good last day in Acapulco.. back to mty .
03/05/10 GO HERO
Long time no see , we went back to acapulco to make some field tests of our new Go pro hero Hd cameras, some incredible on board shots were made, stay tunned .
